Scouts - 10.5 to 14 years

When you join Scouts, you’ll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and things.
Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10 ½ to 14 who:
- Master new skills and try new things
- Make new friends
- Have fun and go on adventures, at home and abroad
- Explore the world around them
- Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond
Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Scout Troops to conquer the small task of changing the world.

Scout Leaders
Our volunteers help make Scouts the best it can be.
You do not need to be a swashbuckling adventurer to get involved. We need tidy-uppers, tea-makers, organisers and great listeners from all walks of life.
We provide the support and learning. You choose how much time you give.
Whether that is every week or just now and then, there is a place for you in Scouts.

All of our volunteers are trained to make Scouts the best it can be, but we don’t just need swashbuckling adventurers to lead our expeditions.
We also need tidy-uppers and tea-makers and great listeners from all walks of life – for as much or as little time as they can spare.
