1st Bridlington

At 1st Bridlington Scout Group, we’re all about fun, friendship, and adventure! We offer young people the opportunity to develop skills for life through exciting activities, teamwork, and community involvement. Whether it’s learning how to build a shelter, trying out new sports, or making lifelong friends, there’s something for everyone.
Beavers (Ages 6–8)
Our Beavers section is where the adventure begins! Beavers enjoy a wide range of activities that help them explore the world around them, from nature walks and crafts to games and storytelling. It’s all about building confidence, making friends, and having fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Cubs (Ages 8–10½)
Cubs take the next step in their Scouting journey with even more exciting challenges. From camping and hiking to learning new skills and earning badges, Cubs develop independence, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility, all while having a blast!
Scouts (Ages 10½–14)
Although we do not currently have an active Scout section, we are actively working to bring it back. With the support of Wolds and Coast Scout District, we already have plans in place and are building momentum through volunteer recruitment and preparation. Together we are confident that Scouts will be reopening soon, creating new opportunities for young people in the area to enjoy the adventure of Scouting.
Volunteer With Us
Scouting wouldn’t be possible without our amazing volunteers. Whether you can spare an hour a week or a few days a year, there’s a role for everyone. From leading activities to helping behind the scenes, volunteering with us is a rewarding way to make a difference in young people’s lives, and have fun doing it!
