Nafferton
Nafferton Scout Group reopened in May 1975 after a short break and we are 50 years old! We have had many meeting places in the past but our new home has been at the Clubhouse.
We have a big meeting room, storage for all of our awesome gear, and access to lovely fields for our outdoor activities. We run a balanced programme within all 3 sections, with all the leaders helping at each section. We like to go camping, hiking, and sleepover in random places like Legoland and Beamish Museum.
Many Scouts come back to us as Young Leaders and also Leaders - proving that 'Once a Nafferton Scout, Always a Nafferton Scout!'
We are quite traditional in our methods and wear our uniforms each week with pride. We take part in many fundraising activities in the village, as well in the wider community. Our logo is a Viking helmet with the original Viking name for Nafferton - Natfaris Tun under the helmet.
We like to get involved in the village and help out with litter picks, assist Nafferton in Bloom and local Trusts. We are one big happy Scouting family!
